From humble beginnings in 1935 Howard Abraham Motors Ltd is recognised as one of the oldest family car dealerships in Northern Ireland. To this day it remains within family ownership. Three generations of family are behind the business you see today. And to this day, it is the founder’s business approach, one of ‘gentlemanly virtues’, we firmly believe is the most important aspect of our continued success. Indeed today, we promise to be nothing other than straightforward with you, approachable and above all helpful in our dealings with you.

Our Promise To You. One point, and it is a very important one. On any given day you’ll find us, the owners, with our sleeves rolled up standing on the showroom floor meeting, greeting and handling your enquiries. And if you can’t find us, just ask. We look forward to meeting you.

We came across this old photo of our Dealership online (courtesy off Old Lurgan photos). The photograph shows the front showroom and the old petrol pumps before they were removed many years ago. We're not entirely sure what the exact model of the car in view but we do think it's Timmy on his bike heading off to school.

The first of January used to be the ‘Big Day’ in the motor trade when everyone picked up their new car for the start of a new year. This photo from 1st January 1972 shows the array of Austin 1300’s, Mini Clubman’s, Mini’s and MGBGT at Howard Abraham Motors on the Avenue Road all ready for collection by their new owners. Standing beside the cars was a young Stanley Abraham who’s father Howard founded the business back in the 1930’s and it is still a family run company going strong to this day.
